Absolutely fabulous accommodation on offer. Super attention to detail and incredibly pet friendly. The enclosed dog field is such a super idea and so handy. Local area is marvellous and the cottages are a great base for Norfolk coast and Broads alike. Lauren and her team provide a super standard of accommodation, facilities, welcome pack (human and doggy alike) and attention to detail. No hesitation in recommending.

We would just like to say a big thank you. We had a lovely week staying in The Forge. It had everything we needed and was well equipped for our stay inc goodies for us & our two beagle's. With an enclosed garden which was lovely and modern and plenty room for us humans too. With lots of lovely walks on our doorstep (Bacton Beach & Woods, Sea Palling, Walcott, Cart Gap & Happisburgh) Great value as well could not find fault, it was handy to have our food shop delivered as we tend to cook . Kitchen had everything we needed. Bonus side there is a private paddock for our beagle's to run around or play with toys available and shower if they get muddy.

Delivered to a family on Holiday, places looked lovely and clean with modern decor, nicely furnished. Has a dog friendly field to the side of properties fully fenced with watering facilities, thought that was a nice feature as a lot of people take dogs with them on Holiday now.

Fantastic very comprehensive welcome pack which exceeded my expectations and very thoughtfully organised place with everything you could want. Extremely comfortable and really really dog friendly. Each apartment had it's own dog secure patio. Additionally there is a shared grassy area immediately outside the patios for all but the Forge. There is also a medium sized fenced dog field with a warm dog wash house set up there. Each accommodation also has its own hose facilities outside too. Lovely beaches only a short drive and lots of helpful local information provided.

5* is an understatement, these cottages and facilities are a dog owners dream holiday destination!
From the moment you enter the secure site, you relax knowing you’ve come to luxurious accommodation for humans and dogs. Every little detail has been thought about so you don’t have to worry. The cleanliness, comfort and styling is superb.
The local area provides plenty of great dog friendly beaches, walks around fields and broads as well as woods. So many cafes and pubs are dog friendly too.

16 of us stayed as a large family group & everyone had a wonderful week. The cottages are a pleasure to stay in, very well equipped & beautifully furnished. The beds are so comfy with luxurious bedding. The garden area & field was perfect for the dogs. The hosts are so accommodating with any extra requests you have & provide lots of information about the cottages & surrounding area too. It is clear how much hard work goes into making this an amazing place to stay. Thank you for the lovely welcome packs & allowing us to make some very special memories.

We stayed in The Forge Cottage. It was just the right size for me and my husband and our two dogs. It was private with an enclosed garden and because the cottage isn't adjacent to any other cottage it was very quiet. It was very comfortable with modern fittings through out. They provide a welcome pack which was much appreciated which included household items and a few bits of local food. It was very dog friendly and they provide a dog hamper with goodies and toys to play with and they have a huge field for the dogs to run around in with balls etc. We had a very enjoyable week and have booked for next year!

Stunning accommodation and great location. The owners have thought of everything and it is the perfect place for a dog, with fully enclosed garden and huge enclosed field with warm shower facility for the dog. The welcome hamper was a wonderful extra that we were not expecting.

We and our two ‘escape artist’ miniature dachshunds have enjoyed a lovely week in The Forge. So well equipped, with luxurious bedding and fluffy towels, altogether a wonderful place for a couple to stay and unwind. Lots of unexpected extras too - even for the dogs. Both the garden and dog field were totally secure - and this is not usual in holiday rentals as we have previously found out elsewhere! Peace of mind does not have a price. The owners have done a fabulous job all round, absolutely first class. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

Excellent accommodation perfectly done out and very dog friendly. The dog shower came in very handy, the enclosed yard and lots of creature comforts for both humans and dogs alike, lots of little touches and everything had been thought of, really is home from home. Welcome pack was fab and the cottage made very homely for our Christmas stay. Lots of places advertise as dog friendly but then charge you extra for dogs Oak Cottages doesn't, excellent value for money and good location to explore we will definitely be back. Thankyou

We stayed at The Forge, fantastic dog welcoming accommodation, luxury linens for us and a dog bed better than the favourite brought from home for the dogs. A really well equipped kitchen and amazing welcome packs for everyone. The enclosed dog field with warm water dog rinse is so useful for a post beach rinse.

The forge was stunning in every way. My 2 dogs and I had an AMAZING week the most dog friendly holiday place I'm sure you'll ever find. They even provided us all with vegan goodies, which made it even more special. The secure walled garden is a sun trap which the patio doors open on to. We found loads of walks leaving from the cottage so not having a car proved no problem at all. In the welcome information there were dog friendly taxis listed and a local dog sitter if needed. We definitely would love to go back.

It was our first stay at Oak Tree cottages and it was perfect. Lighthouse cottage was the best dog friendly place we have stayed in. The doggy field was great, the location was good for getting around Norfolk and going to the beach

I was recommended Oak tree cottages by a freind who had stayed previously and it exceeded his glowing review. The lovely setting and hosts are only matched by the attention to detail which made our stay perfect and we cannot wait to return and see more of the beautiful Norfolk coast.

to take a break with the dogs. Stayed in the Lighthouse Cottage which was clean and well kept. The welcome packages provided for us and the dogs were superb. The grounds and local area are very dog friendly and made for a very enjoyable stay. By far the best holiday cottage we have stayed at with the dogs and would not hesitate to return.

Highly recommended. A great placeIf you are looking for a luxury, comfortable and superbly presented dog welcoming cottage to explore Norfolk then look no further than Oak Tree Cottages. We stayed as first guests post third lockdown in Oak Cottage and found it to be spotlessly clean on our arrival with a wonderful welcome pack of goodies for both us and the pooch. The owners have put a lot of thought into what is needed to make the cottages a real home from home and the kitchen is the best equipped we have ever come across. The underfloor heating was especially enjoyed by our ageing dog who loved to stretch out on the tiles for a snooze. Unlike some other supposedly dog friendly cottages, dogs are allowed on the sofas with a throw (provided), in the bedrooms and even on the bed if you bring your own bedding. The enclosed field is so handy for quick morning and evening walkies and has poo bags toys and a warm dog shower! We enjoyed lots of walks on local beaches (Happisburgh is a walkable 2.7 miles away), woods and the Norfolk Broads and it was lovely to return to a warm cosy place each evening. You will not be disappointed if you book a holiday here.

Highly recommended. A great placeWe had an amazing time in "The Forge" at Oak Tree Cottages. Our dog loved the play field, and courtyard where he got to play. I loved the location and general atmosphere. Going to the beach for a morning walk was amazing! My husband loved the internet (faster than at home!) and the grill. Overall an amazing place to stay.

Clean, well-equipped and super-friendly, well laid out and everything has been thought of with dog comfort in mind. Amazing welcome pack supplied for people and pets. There is a suggestion book supplied for any ideas for improvements. It was completely blank and probably will always be so. Loved it.

Our second visit here - truly first class accommodation with everything you could possibly want/need taken care of...for us and our dog. The cottages are immaculate, you feel you are the very first people to every stay in them. The beaches are beautiful and everyone is so friendly. Can't wait to go back again!

Highly recommended. A great placeThere are 3 stunning barn conversions. All are dog friendly. Very tastefully decorated. Fully kitted out kitchen. Each with its own patio area and barbecue for your use. As well as a communal grasssed area for dogs. Owners live on site. Plenty to do with in a short distance that are dog friendly. Great value stay. Complete with welcoming pack for dogs and their owners.

We stayed at the 'Oak Cottage', & what a fabulous cottage it is too. You arrived to find the fantastic welcome hamper, not only fir yourself, but your four legged friends too.
The cottages have anything, everything & more that you could possibly need fior your stay.
The patio & Shared garden were a lovely,,but my dogs absolutely loved the secure fenced off large field to runabout on, & were spoled by the toys provided for them to play with.
Everything about Oak Cottages says "high end & quality" It was a home from home & even the 'teenager' was happy as it had WiFi & you tube

I am so glad I found this little gem.  From the start comes with Lauren was fab, super helpful and informative.
On arrival we were well prepared as the app is a great idea, you don't have to use it but I'd recommend it, you can download the locally thoughtfully local walks and alsorts!  The recommendations of places to visit, eat etc did not disapoint!
On arrival the cottage was spotless!  Fantasticly designed and top quality appliances, beautiful bedding (I took note and have ordered some for home)  Everything is thought out, from all the kitchen necessities and utensils, cleaning products.
Just everything. We were expecting a good place, this suer exceeded all expectations. The garden and the paddock too, the dogs loved it all. Because of how well it was all set out and equipped it made for a super relaxing stay.
There is so much more to this place than they humbly advertise. Highly recommend and if you are pondering then trust me, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Lauren and Co. You are absolutely at the top of your game.

Wow!.. Simply where do I start with this place. In one word, The Forge at Oak Tree Cottages is simply 'Amazing'.

Who needs to holiday abroad when you have such luxury here in the UK.

The cottage itself is stunning and finished to the highest standard I have ever seen in any accommodation I have stayed in - and I've stayed in plenty both in the UK and abroad!

Literally every detail and amenity has been thought of with this property and the emphasis on your pet's enjoying their holiday as much as you is clearly evident by the effort the owners go to providing dog-friendly facilities, including a 'doggy welcome pack', a spacious fenced field to run around in outside and even a heated outdoor dog shower area! The cottage was immaculate and cleaned throughly, so much so you wouldn't even realise this was dog-friendly accommodation if you weren't coming with a pet.

The welcome pack we humans recieved was just as luxurious, with plenty of tasty treats to get us started - even catering for our Vegan preferences (which certainly isn't the case in most other places we've visited).

We visited during COVID19 and the owners had gone above and beyond to make sure the cottage was COVID secure and it was clear that the place had been cleaned top to bottom prior to our arrival and we felt completely reassured and safe during our stay.

The cottage itself is very secluded and relaxing, benefiting from it's own private garden space outside - the perfect place for taking in that fresh Norfolk air and we very much enjoyed making the most of the sunshine having breakfast outside :)

I literally cannot fault the cottage or the owners who clearly have their customers at heart in everything they do. We are so glad we got to enjoy The Forge before it inevitably becomes impossible to book as it's bound to prove a popular choice for local accommodation! We can't wait to come back and are already looking to book out next visit well in advance.

Reluctantly home after another fabulous week at Oak Tree Cottages. We have stayed at all 3 of the larger cottages (sadly The Forge is too small for us but looks so lovely!). I don’t know how they do it but they seem to keep improving this special place even though I didn’t think it could be improved! Faultless in every way.
